Procrastination is a word too commonly used for people like me, college students like me, gym members like me, friends like me. I don’t know what is in the air now-a-days, but I just don’t have the energy to do anything besides go to class and work. If I have an hour or two of free time, you know I am watching Netflix or napping, instead of doing homework, studying, going to the gym, or cleaning the house. Sometimes I have to wake myself up from this procrastinated dream, and shake some energy into my body because it is a negative trait that I wish I never picked up. It is 100% less stressful if you do not procrastinate. Now I know I am not the only one to be like this… So this is for all of you tooooooo.

How to not procrastinate in 5 ways:

  1. Simply ask yourself what is more important than starting the task.
  2. Make a to-do list of things that need to be done.
  3. Do NOT wait for the perfect time, because this is an excuse you are giving yourself.
  4. Do one thing at a time.
  5. Give yourself a break in between tasks.

Here are some quotes that help me out when I am having days/weeks (or months) like this.

The best way to get things done is to simply B E G I N .

Positive mind. Positive Vibes. Positive Life.

Don’t let the little silly things steal your happiness.

If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sun beams and you will always look lovely.

I’m not here to be average, I’m here to be awesome.

I am the master of my habits!

I can & I will.

The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but building the new.

Be stronger than your excuses.
